Micropigmentation and Tattoos Differences

What is Micropigmentation?

Permanent makeup or micropigmentation is a new method in tattooing. This method is used to design on the face. This method has many applications in makeup and beauty. Because most women are looking for beauty and prefer to use a safe and permanent way to have a beautiful face.

Permanent eyeliner, permanent lip liner, eyelash strengthening, eyelash repair, fix low eyebrow, eyebrow symmetry, birthmarks, hiding scars, eye makeup for those who are sensitive to cosmetic products and etc. It is part of micropigmentation services in the field of beauty.

The difference between micropigmentation and ordinary tattoos

In some conditions, the two methods are similar; but the difference is that in micropigmentation, the dye used, like hair strands in the direction of eyebrow hair growth, is placed on the skin and the others are not faced with colorful and ugly frames.

The strands are pulled into the eyebrows with a thin needle and are not colorful or distinct. These strands used in micropigmentation method with a natural color.

In fact, the method of tattooing is different from micropigmentation, and unlike tattoos, this method is painless and without bleeding and causes less inflammation.

Many people who have tattoos are very concerned about safety and health. Because if the hygienic principles are not observed in these methods, it may lead to the transmission of dangerous diseases such as HIV or hepatitis.

It should be noted that in addition to the fact that wounds, bleeding and inflammation are very low in this method, due to the use of disposable packages and tested colors, occupational safety and health are well observed and there is no need to worry about this.

Many experts refer to this method as a painless method.

The difference between Micropigmentation and microblading

Many people use these two words interchangeably. Of course, these two methods have many similarities, and both are among the semi-permanent eyebrow makeup methods. But they are also slightly different.

For example, the technique and tools used in these two methods, which are used to inject dye under the skin, are different. In microblading, specialists usually use the tools manually to create the best eyebrow shape. Using special bristle brushes, they create thin, precise lines that resemble eyebrow strands so that the pigment can be placed inside to create the shape of the eyebrows. This method of scraping the skin and applying pigment makes the final result look exactly like real eyebrow strands.

Blades or needles for microblading create a precise, delicate and natural effect. The lines that form on the eyebrows is quite similar to the natural eyebrow strands.

Micropigmentation, on the other hand, creates a more shadow-like appearance, not to mention the thinner eyebrow strands. In fact, it is a kind of semi-permanent eyebrow shadow. Therefore, its final appearance does not look as natural as microblading and does not look like eyebrow strands. In addition, micropigmentation specialists usually perform this process with digital tools. This tool injects the dye under the outer layer of the skin and it is done through very thin needles.

Microblading is usually done in two sessions. In the first session, the shape and condition of the eyebrows are decided and the general shape of the eyebrows is created. In the second session, repairs and corrections are made. The first session lasts about two hours, but the second session is usually shorter. The micropigmentation process takes a little longer and of course the final result is more durable.

Repairing and treating injuries of Microblading can take up to ten days. During this time, the redness and inflammation of the skin will disappear completely. In the first few days, the dark colors begin to lighten. Therefore, in the first days, the result is much darker than you expect and you may even be disappointed. But rest easy because it fades in a few days. After a month, the colors will stabilize. During this time, the colors become a little lighter, but still quite close to the natural color of your eyebrows. People who do micropigmentation will initially have eyebrows that are almost twice as dark as the final result. After peeling and repairing the last damage, the final result is determined and it will be lighter color.

In general, these two methods are similar in execution and the only difference is in their stability and elegance.

Micropigmentation lasts longer and depending on your goal, the subtlety and naturalness of microblading is more.

Note that hatching using any of these two techniques should be done by an experienced person in a licensed center, as well as applying the principles of hygiene, which is definitely a priority before the cost.
