How Lasers work for Treatment Acne and Scars
CO2 Fractional laser treatment
The safest and most effective treatment for acne scars and scars is CO2 fractional laser. This laser repairs only a small part of the skin at a time and does not damage the surrounding tissue to accelerate the healing process. This laser creates very small microscopic pores in the skin so that these pores pass through the epidermis layer and reach the dermis layer to produce new collagen, and fill in the pores and form a younger and smoother skin.
Most patients achieve the desired result with just one session. Fractional CO2 laser is a safe treatment for acne scars and scars on all patients with all skin types, including Asians, Indians, and African-Americans.
Radio frequency
Radio Frequency is the newest method of treating acne scars and scars. The recovery and healing period of this operation is very short and if it is used correctly and the correct type of scars and acne scars is diagnosed correctly, a significant result will be achieved. Radio Frequency can be used on a different type of skin, for example patients with dark skin, and to treat acne scar and scars.
Erbium laser:
This gentle treatment stimulates the change and repair of skin cells and helps to strengthen the skin by inducing the formation of elastin and collagen fibers. The laser removes fine lines and wrinkles at superficial and medium depths, including the weld, due to the controlled depth of abrasion and the intensity of the treatment.
The Erbium laser creates thousands of deep, very small columns in the skin, thereby treating old pigment cells in the epidermis without damaging the surrounding tissue. Keeping the surrounding tissue healthy speeds up the healing process, reducing the healing time to 24 hours, and triggers the natural process of creating new, healthier tissue to replace damaged cells. This safe and non-invasive procedure brings young and healthy skin to patients.
Scar treatment with IPL (intense pulsed light)
IPL is an effective treatment for targeting pigment cells that remain after active skin lesions such as acne scars have disappeared. A short pulse of intense light is emitted from the applicator to the skin during the IPL treatment session to treat the acne scars. A certain wavelength is chosen to destroy the pigment cells of the weld. Red and brown spots on the skin are significantly reduced after a few sessions of IPL treatment.
