<\/span>What is milia or milk spot?<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Milia are small white or yellow cysts, bumps, or spots on the skin. They are usually found around the eye area and cheeks but can appear anywhere on the face or body. It is very common for multiple milia to appear in clusters. Very common in newborn babies, they are often called “milk spots”. You should know that the appearance of these milia is similar to whiteheads. Still, whiteheads are very resistant to pressure, and unlike normal whiteheads, when squeezed, there is no output except for sores and inflammation caused by pressure. The reason is that this condition is often mistakenly referred to as something similar to hard or persistent whiteheads.<\/p>
